How to use Weekester

How to Link Devices

Chrome Cast

  • Add feeds to your Chrome Cast Feed listing by clicking "Add To Chrome Cast" icon
  • Go to your Chrome Cast feeds by clicking on "Chrome Cast" on the top banner on Weekester's home page
  • Click on "Device Feed Auto Drive (Beta)" to start playing feeds
  • If you are using Chrome browser, you can click on Chrome Cast icon to stream your feeds directly to Chrome Cast


  • Install the Weekester app from Roku channel store
  • Sign up for a account
  • Go to the "Link Device" link from your account
  • Click on "Generate New Code" Menu
  • Enter the generated code in your Weekester Roku channel
  • Grab your favorite beverage, sit on the couch and enjoy

Smart Phone or Tablet

  • Sign up for a account
  • Add feeds to for your smart phone or tablet by clicking on the device icon
  • Launch on your device
  • Click on the device category (Android, Iphone, or tablet) to view feeds


Importing RSS Feed

  • Log into Weekester website
  • Click on Import Feed
  • Enter URL for your RSS feed
  • Click on "Check Feed"
  • If your feed is compatible with Weekester you will be presented an option to save the feed.
  • Click on "Save" to save feed.
  • Once your feed is saved. You can add it to your device by going to the Weekester homepage and searching for the feed by name.
    All imported feeds are private and only accessible to you.

Importing OPML

  • Log into Weekester website
  • Click on Import Feed
  • Click on "Import OPML" link
  • Drop files or click on the uploader to upload OPML file

Deactivate Account

You can deactivate your account at anytime by logging into weekester and following the instructions on the Import Feed page.

Supported Feeds

  • Weekester supports RSS and Atom feed formats
  • In order to support media streaming into multiple devices only feeds that have images, audio file (mp3) and Video files (mp4 and m4v) can be imported to Weekester

Content Publishers: Media links (link to images, audio files or videos) must be included in "enclosure", "summary" or "link" section of an Atom or RSS feed.

Want to publish a feed? Send us your RSS feed links and we will include it on our public feed library (feeds must be family-friendly). Please review Weekester terms section before submitting your feeds.
